Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) has been updated by Microsoft to Android 13. Members of the Windows Subsystem for Android Preview Program can access the update for Windows Subsystem for Android on Windows 11.
The most recent Windows Subsystem for Android release (2211.40000.7.0) also includes stability and performance improvements for Android 13.
For those who are unaware, the Windows Subsystem for Android functionality allows developers to upload their Android programmes to Windows 11 via the Amazon Appstore. But it’s crucial to remember that the Amazon Appstore only operates in a few places, thus not all developers can actually benefit from the WSA.
With Android 13 support, Microsoft has worked to improve WSA, and we anticipate that Android 13 apps will perform better on the Windows 11 operating system. Other improvements are included in the most recent WSA update. Additionally, you can read the entire official changelog down below to find out more about the updates.
