Microsoft has provided the Dev Channel Insiders with Edge version 110.0.1543.0, which includes a number of new features, updates, and enhancements. However, due to Microsoft ceasing support for the most recent Dev build, users of operating systems older than Windows 8.1 will not be able to update to the Edge Dev 110. Edge Dev’s most recent version only works with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
While ending support for older versions of the Windows operating system is upsetting for users who haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 10 or 11, Edge 110 introduces several intriguing upgrades. Users will now be able to apply the dark theming to material that does not support dark mode even when dark mode is activated because it is now possible to impose dark mode on Sidebar content.
Collections will now display fresh material for mobile users that was influenced by your collections and the web. According to Microsoft, customers’ current collections won’t be moved. With the addition of support for the ExtensionInstallBlocklist policy, Microsoft Edge enterprise users will be able to restrict every Sidebar app. There are numerous additional noteworthy updates and enhancements in Edge Dev 110.
