Survivor, the following instalment in the Star Wars Jedi franchise, was first revealed by EA and Respawn Entertainment earlier this year, although at the time, only a broad 2023 release window was provided. Although there haven’t been any further official changes, the game’s store page on Steam may have gotten ahead of itself by briefly and prominently posting the debut date of “16 Mar, 2023” today.
Even while the page had already been erased to practically its basic, original condition, some fans hadn’t yet noticed. Along with the release date, the page also included a longer description of the game, pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses, and PC system requirements.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place five years after the events of Survivor, which recasts Cal Kestis as a Jedi Knight with stronger Force prowess and Lightsaber fighting techniques. Additionally, Cal will be carrying a Blaster in this entry, and cosmetics for it are included in the pre-order and Deluxe bonuses. We won’t know how this inclusion works with the combat system that is similar to Souls until the gameplay is released.
The displayed system requirements are shown below. Considering that the Steam page was not intended to be live this soon, keep in mind that they may alter by the time launch rolls around:

- forward with Cal’s journey. Cal has developed into a strong Jedi Knight and is no longer a Padawan. His struggle against the Empire has only grown riskier as he carries with him the memories and expectations of the Jedi Order. The Dark Times are drawing near, and Cal must determine how far he is prepared to go in order to protect those who are most important to him. He will be surrounded by foes both new and old.
- surpass your training. With new lightsaber fighting techniques and more Force powers, the cinematic combat system is back. Utilize all of these skills and weaponry in a planned way to take on a larger group of enemies, assessing each one’s strengths and weaknesses and using your training deftly to outwit your foes and unravel the mysteries that stand in your way.
- Investigate an unruly galaxy. Explore unfamiliar and brand-new areas in the Star Wars galaxy, each with its own biomes, difficulties, and foes. Learn new techniques, tools, and abilities that will improve your exploration, combat, and movement. Players that travel beyond the horizon will find secret treasures, wider places to explore, and more to discover off the usual route.
According to the information that was deleted, players who pre-order the standard edition will receive a “Jedi Survival Cosmetic Pack” with an outfit, Lightsaber, and Blaster inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Deluxe Edition, meanwhile, includes even more accessories inspired by Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s debut gameplay will be unveiled by Respawn on December 8 during The Game Awards webcast. The launch date of March 16, 2023, which the Steam page just revealed, will likely be confirmed there as well.
