It appears that some customers are currently encountering issues using iCloud Mail to access their email as of the early morning workday on the West Coast of the United States. On its System Status page, Apple acknowledged the problem and reports that the service has been “slow or unavailable” since 9.06am GMT (12:05pm ET, 5pm GMT).
According to 9to5mac, the service experienced an outage exactly one month ago that took ten hours to fix, which may not be promising for the current scenario. Unlucky customers could be denied access to their iCloud Mail for the entire workday.
Fix your iCloud mail, @Apple

Some users have also been mentioning Apple on Twitter in relation to the problem, possibly not realising that Apple has blocked all involvement on their account, which is still active but devoid of any Tweets as a result of the ongoing dispute with Elon Musk’s Twitter leadership. Due to Apple’s decision to end all advertising on the platform, Musk recently questioned, via a public tweet, if “Apple dislikes free speech in America?” Musk chose to do this rather than bring the matter up directly and privately with those responsible for the decision.
We will update this article when the iCloud Mail service is back online with any official comments from Apple regarding the outage.
