The Steam Autumn Sale has begun, offering discounts across the board and 2022 Steam Award submissions.

Steam only has two more significant sales planned for the remainder of the year because 2022 is quickly coming to an end, and the penultimate promotion has just gone live. There are currently discounts available on thousands of games, DLC, gift cards, and other items during the Steam Autumn Sale.

The widely accessible specials have taken over the store’s front page, and the featured titles, franchises, and publishers will change every day to make room for newcomers. Remember that throughout the sale, the discounted prices will not change.

Due to the sudden traffic spike from eager sale attendees, Steam is currently experiencing slowdowns and price changes, but things should return to normal in a few hours at most. Discounts for titles like Metro Exodus, Ace Combat 7, Satisfactory, FIFA 23, Stray, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are just a few of the highlights we can see on the front page for the first day.

Like every year, the sale is accompanied by the Steam Awards, the nominations for which are now open for public voting. A new category called “Best Game on the Go” has been added by Valve due to the popularity of portable gaming PCs like the Steam Deck, in addition to the standard 10 nomination categories like Game of the Year, Best Game You Suck At, and Labor of Love we’ve seen in previous years.

Users who participate will receive a new Steam profile badge for suggesting games. The Steam Winter Sale, which will begin in late December to wrap up the year, will present the selected games for a final round of voting by the general public to determine the winners.

From now until November 29th, the 2022 Steam Autumn Sale will be active with its discounts and Steam Award Nominations.
