Anchor, bought by Spotify, introduces a one-tap audio enhancement tool.

The recently acquired podcast hosting service Anchor by Spotify is launching a new one-tap Audio Enhancement feature that will assist podcast creators in reducing background noise and enhancing their vocal clarity in its latest effort to make amateur podcasters sound like professionals.

Audio Enhancement, a lauded audio editing tool, is said to assist users in producing podcasts with just one tap by removing background noise and elevating the creator’s voice to the foreground after adjusting the audio to acceptable levels.

As a result, it promises, audio will sound better, even when it is recorded in noisy settings like a beer shop or a line with wailing sirens in the distance. Additionally, you won’t need to wait for a calm environment to begin.

Launch the Anchor app, tap the Record button, and then tap the Enhance button to start using Audio Enhancement. This will greatly reduce background noise and make it appear as though you were simply speaking into a microphone.

Use of Audio Enhancement is totally free. Additionally, it is now available to all podcasters worldwide in the Anchor mobile app for iOS and Android.

Already, 70% of Spotify’s podcast library is powered by Anchor. The business is working to improve the audio quality to the point where it can be released as a podcast and establish the brand as a one-stop shop for podcast creation and listening.
