Google only introduced new products last month, including the Pixel Watch, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. The Google behemoth also provided a sneak preview of its 2023 Pixel tablet. People anticipated hearing from Google regarding their first-ever foldable phone as well, but the company provided no information.
Google appears to be working diligently to create its first foldable tablet, though. From an anonymous leaker, the tech news website FrontPageTech was able to obtain photographs of Google’s foldable device in use (see images below).
People should anticipate “typical Pixel-esque performance” and camera technology that is similar to what is seen on Google’s current smartphones, according to FrontPageTech’s source. The leaker claims that the device will also be “very f**king hefty.”
Chalk (white) and Obsidian will be the available colours for Google’s foldable phone (black). Additionally, it will reportedly cost $1,799, or almost the same as a 1TB Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. The device will now be available in May 2023 instead of the previously-reported Q1 2023 announcement. The release date for Google’s phone was originally set for 2021, however it was later changed to 2022. Google discovered that it performed worse than other devices like the Galaxy Z Fold3, therefore it was once again postponed.
