Discover Credits has been added to Plex so you can quickly see what movies and TV shows actors have appeared in.

Discover Credits, a useful feature that allows you to see what other movies and TV shows your favourite actors have starred in, has been made available by the media centre and streaming service Plex. Discover Credits enables you to quickly check if you see anyone who looks familiar but you are unsure of which movie they were in.

It’s very simple to use the feature; just visit the details page for a movie or television programme or run a name-based actor search. When you click on the actor, their profile page will open; scroll down to see a list of the films they have starred in. Simply tap the title you want to watch, and you will be shown the locations where you can watch it. If you’re lucky, Plex will offer the programme without charge.
Currently, Roku, Fire TV, Smart TVs, Apple TV, Android TV, Android, iOS, and the web all support the new Discover Credits feature. On the downloads page, you can find the necessary download if you’re unsure how to update the Plex app on your device.

In addition, if you discover a movie while looking up actors that you want to watch, you can add it to your watchlist and watch the movies when you have time. Simply click the Add to Watchlist button on the movie’s details page. Later, you can access the Watchlist from the Plex sidebar.
