New Nvidia 526.86 driver provides enhanced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II functionality.

The most recent Game Ready Windows WHQL driver from Nvidia is version 526.86. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is now supported more effectively by the new driver. This updated Game Ready Driver supports NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and NVIDIA Reflex, improves stability, and addresses image corruption issues.

The following is a list of the additional bug fixes that the 526.86 driver brings:

  • Modern Warfare II (Call of Duty) While playing the game, you might occasionally see flashing corruption. [3829010]
  • Vanguard, a Call of Duty game After prolonged gameplay, a game may erroneously crash [3841398].
  • After a driver update, VTube Studio crashes to a black screen [3838158].
  • After quitting some games, the GPU might remain in the P0 state [3846389].
  • [Games by Anvil Engine] Flickering surroundings [3843932]
  • Performance decline for 8K60 AV1 decoding on the RTX 4090 [3835745]
  • With Forza Horizon 5, After prolonged gameplay, certain PC configurations may experience artefacts that resemble rainbows [3685123].

Here are the problems that are still open for discussion:

  • When non-native resolution is used, switching HDR on and off in-game causes stability problems. [3624030]
  • Using DirectX 12 When Use HDR is turned on in the Windows display settings, shadowplay recordings might look overexposed. [200742937]
  • If DSR/DLDSR is enabled, the monitor may briefly flicker when waking from display sleep. [3592260]

  • On some RTX 30-series configurations, the Desktop Window Manager (dwm.exe) service may report higher GPU usage. [3830387]
  • Disable Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows Settings as a workaround.
  • The Daz Studio Application crashes when attempting to run a simulation after updating to the most recent driver [3838022].
