The Windows 11 Dev Channel received build 25236 last week. The Taskbar, System Tray, File Explorer, Settings app, and other features all received numerous bug fixes in addition to some intriguing changes, such as tips for Windows Search. However, Microsoft has confirmed that none will be flighted in these final few working hours, so if you were hoping for another Dev build this week, you’re in for some disappointment.
Microsoft has occasionally explained why a build has not been released in the past, and the main reasons are blocking bugs or other issues with quality. But it just said that a new build might come in the following week:
There was no developer release this week; work should resume next week.

Although no one in the Windows Insider Program is legally entitled to receive Dev builds on a regular basis, those who are used to more frequent travel and internet access value the ability to quickly install updates and explore what’s new. If you are on that channel, there is still the Beta build that was released just a few hours ago.
Microsoft hasn’t specified what features we can anticipate in the upcoming developer build, but the recently teased screen-recording features for the Snipping Tool would undoubtedly be intriguing.
