Microsoft has updated the Camera app and Microsoft Store app in a new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25182 for the Dev Channel Insiders. Numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements are also included in the most recent Dev Channel Insider build.
The Microsoft Modern Webcam or the built-in camera on many new Windows 11 laptops are examples of supported hardware that the Camera app can now “understand the state of the privacy shutter on” as of version 2022.2207.29.0. Microsoft also asserted that the Camera app experience on Arm64 devices had been enhanced. Additionally, screenshots are now visible in search results in the Microsoft Store app. In addition, you’ll see that games are now installed straight from the Microsoft Store app. Keep in mind that anyone using the most recent Dev Channel Insider Build can access these modifications.
Microsoft stated in the official blog post that Build 25182 would stop working on September 15, 2023. To avoid receiving an expiration notice, the software provider advises users to update to the most recent Dev build.
