Xbox users can now participate in voice discussions on Discord, but only as Xbox Insiders for the time being.
Discord Voice will eventually work with an Xbox, the company said in a blog post. Although not yet accessible to everyone, Discord provides a summary of what users might anticipate from the new functionality.
Players will soon be able to use the Xbox mobile app to immediately contact pals on Discord by connecting their Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles to Discord voice chat. Xbox users have access to other Discord members, of course. For instance, audio chats can be scheduled for cross-play sessions involving users on PCs and smartphones.
Currently only accessible to insiders, but soon available to everyone
For Xbox Insiders, Discord Voice features are now accessible. Then, throughout the year, the function will be released on a regular basis. When exactly is still uncertain. You must sign up for the Insider program if you want to test the functionality right now.
