Google Play celebrates 10th anniversary with a new logo

The main place where Android users receive all of their apps is Google Play. It took ten years to create the Google Play that we are familiar with today. And as Google Play celebrates 10, the company has highlighted how it has changed and benefited users and developers everywhere.

Google emphasized the popularity of its key Google Play features, including Google Play Pass, Google Play Instant, Google Play Points, and many more, in a blog post. The search engine behemoth also emphasized how Google Play Protect, the company’s in-built malware security solution for Android devices, has helped to make it a safe and dependable environment. It also highlights how it assisted developers of all sizes in expanding their businesses, contributed to regional economies, and allowed the developer community to make better apps and games available to users all around the world.

Google has unveiled a new logo to go along with the branding of many of the company’s products, including Search, Assistant, Photos, Gmail, and more, as part of the celebration of 10 years of Google Play. To further mark the occasion, Play Points members can now use a points booster to receive 10x points on all purchases. You can find out more by visiting the “Earn” tab of Play Points Home because the official start date varies each nation.
