Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 25163 a few days ago. It has many new features, including better file sharing, the return of taskbar overflow, and more. On top of that, Microsoft is rolling out Cumulative Update Build 25163.1010 (KB5016904) to test the servicing pipeline for builds in the Dev Channel.
There are no new features in Windows 11 Build 25163.1010, so you have everything that Microsoft added to Build 25163. This means that your taskbar overflow is now different, that sharing with people nearby is better, and more. With the update, Microsoft also fixed a lot of bugs.
Microsoft also made Windows 11 Build 25163, 25163.1010, and Windows 11 OS Build 22000.829 for stable Windows 11 users. Windows 11 OS Build 22000.829 gives users the option to update to a newer version of Windows 11 when they first start Windows, among other things. Insiders on the Beta Channel also got something. Microsoft has given Windows 11 Insiders in the Beta Channel two new preview builds: 22621.436 and 22622.436. These builds fix bugs and add new features. Here is where you can find out about the Beta Channel builds.
As a reminder, Microsoft’s event for Beta Channel Insiders is called Bug Bash. So, if you’re a Beta Channel Insider and can find bugs in the operating system and give other feedback through the Feedback Hub app, this is your chance to help the software giant and get the attention of the Windows developer team. July 25 is the last day of Bug Bash (PT).
In the meantime, you can look at a list of all the new features in Windows 11 Build 25163 below.
