Every week, Microsoft updates the Office Insider beta channel for Windows users. The Office Beta Channel users on Windows are now receiving Office Version 2208 (Build 15511.20000), therefore this week is not an exception. The update does, however, come with a fair number of changes that should improve the performance of various Office programmes, including Outlook, Project, and Word.

In other Office news, Microsoft just made a tonne of new features available to Current Channel Windows subscribers. With the most recent Current Channel Office upgrade, you can now create aggregations instantly by dragging any field into the Values box. Additionally, Excel PivotTables linked to Power BI datasets have received changes that make it easier to digest information (including Implicit Measures). Users of the Current Channel can now use the Shared with Me list to locate important Visio documents.
Additionally, Microsoft released a number of new capabilities for Office Insiders on Mac. The new Cameo tool in PowerPoint for Mac enables users to incorporate a live camera stream anywhere in their presentation. You can choose Insert > Cameo to utilise it in your slide presentation. Go to the Home menu and choose Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules to access the feature. Now, you can simply drag the dialogue box’s edges to resize it as necessary.
