As we close out 2014, there has been lots of incremental changes to Office 365 throughout the year. In 2014 alone, we saw the following changes to Office 365 as Microsoft evolved the service:
- Retirement of InfoPath
- Launch of Power BI and Delve as new Office 365 services
- Launch of the Office 365 Public Roadmap and First Release Program
- Addition of Taxonomy Refinement Panel and Faceted Navigation
- Increases in Size Limits for OneDrive and SharePoint
- Introduction of Office 365 Groups
- Integration of Office 365 and Dropbox
- Integration of Yammer and Office 365 Login
- Introduction of the Office 365 Video Portal
- Rebranding of Lync to Skype for Business
- Major Changes to Power BI
- Dropping of Public Facing Web Site feature from Office 365
- Introduction of the Office 365 APIs
- Integration of Yammer and Office 365 through Conversations
These are just some of the changes that have been released in 2014 – expect 2015 to be full of new features and surprises for the Office 365 service!
